Hi Capitolron.

Your Napoleon is great.:D

I`ve just received a Del Prado figure of Brigadier-General Robert Craufurd 1810 to add to my ranks.

Is that a K & C , NA102 French 45th line, in your first pic?. and have you, repainted him as an 22nd line about 1805-07 early voltigeur ?.

If so great paint job !.:)

Cheers Mark

Its a pity that these wonderful Del Prado Napoleonics haven't been released in Australia, I'd subscribe and get the lot! We did have the WW1 / WW2 series a few years back, but nothing followed :(

Yes “Le Empereur” does have a great pose, fitting any of the battlefields he fought over.

I've been lucky to have a freind go through Hong Kong a few times, and when he visits K&C he usually finds me a casting, and brings it home for me to paint. So far I've got 3 of the Napoleonic Cavalry.

Only problem is cavalry take up a lot of cabinet space, so I usually stick to Infanrty, but being an ex-gunner, I have to have 'firepower' on the field.

regards,

John

Actually that K&C figure is one of the "Premium Gift" figures given away at Chicago or the Westcoaster last year - can't remember?

I just think this Napoleon is very cool and goes great with the other King & Country figures from the Napoleonic range. I plan to have a display of him with the new Dragoons very soon.

Ron,

I believe it was from this year's West Coaster.

Dont forget the weight of a lot of metal cavalry .My wife was not too pleased when a wall cabinet with about 20 odd Del Prado Cavalry started coming off the wall .It stopped fortunately but nearly got her .Better luck neat time (only joking ):).I forgot I have a lot of DelPrados in the loft .Must get them organised ...safely.One of my favorites is the WW1 British Lancer in gas mask .
