New Napoleonic Release From The Showcase (1 Viewer)

Welcome to the forum Hadrian. Whereabouts in Germany are you located?

Hello SABER, I live near Stuttgart in the south of Germany. I collect K&C, Tradition, maybe some upcoming CS and flat figures. Wish you a good night

Welcome indeed Hadrian. If you like Napoleonics, don't forget to give First Legion a look. You can see why by checking thier site of the posts in thier forum here.

Thanks a lot there Brian. The faces look a lot better than they were before. Not trying to be rude. I hope you make a lot of Prussians. You'll really make some good sales there.

Welcome to the forum ! :D

I love Stuttgart - spent a lot of time there in my work for the US Congress.

I now do more work in Munich - I represent KMW (Krauss-Maffei Wegmann) in Washington.

What figures do you collect with K&C ?

Ron

I like the looks of these!!! Even if they don't match with K&C or Britains, I would consider a Quatre Bras diorama on it's own. Britains for Hougoumont, K&C for Waterloo and Collector's Showcase for Quatre Bras. I like the variety this hobby is heading into. Diversity is good!:)

In regards to scale, we ensured that these pieces followed our ACW series exactly. They are 54-56 mm from eyes to the sole of their shoes.

Also just as our Tigers are now completely sold out ( our back order does not arrive for 60 days ) these sets are already selling over the phone. They will be of limited availability ( just 300 sets ). A prompt order should allow for securing these sets. Look for pre-order kits and a site update in 1-2 weeks.

Thanks for all of the set pre-orders based just on the ad, the response has been incredible. It seems Napoleonic will be quite a popular series for us:D

Happy Collecting!

Brian

I just called for a promotion set as well. Real nice guys. This promotion could be a 'bad thing' as I've so far avoided collecting the Napoleonic era.

I also lobbied them to release winter Horch and Marder to go with the Winter Tiger I have coming.

Thank you very much. Most interesting for me is the upcoming set with Murat and the Wurttemberger chasseurs. because my home area in Germany is Wurttemberg :D
But the most beautiful Napis in my opinion you can get from Lead Legion and Niena (both from russia)
Hadrian:)

sorry for late answer. yesterday I had to do a very important thing. Celebrate my birthday:D. How old I am now? Well, I have finished the same number of years as the regimental number of the Highlanders Black watch is :D
Concerning K & C I am collecting Napis (Highlander, Scots grey and French infantry and curiassiers) as well as WWII (where I concentrate on Winter battles). I have no experience with any forum. So please give me a little time to warm up. Maybe I am going to be able to show some photos of my collection in the next weeks. But at the moment I have to learn how does it works.
Hadrian :)

WOW ! - Thats great JAG

I usually wait until I have seen the figures first before buying them. Make sure the look and feel is what I think it is. Also, check the size and color.

I must say these figures do look great and hopefully they can go well with King & Country figures.

I just pre ordered all the sets yesterday.
Frankly I can't say I care much for the practice of saying pre-ordering will be available in the future and then taking pre-orders nonetheless.
Look for pre-order capability in on our site in just one week.
Thanks for all of the set pre-orders based just on the ad...
What is wrong with just picking a time and method for pre-orders and sticking with it.:);)

I appreciate your kind concern for the process, however due to the speed of this release and limited quantities I am encouraging verbal pre-orders as that allows the collector to immediately lock in sets and avoids dissapointment.

The verbals are on entire sets and of course once pre-order set ups are available on the site ordering just a set or two will be available.

Our limited editions of 300 are now selling out within 60-90 of their release. While numbers will move to 400 next year, it does leave room for some dissapointment on these sets as we move forward.

Happy Collecting!

These look superb.I was critical of the early CS WW2 Figures because of their faces, but these look fantastic.I think i'm going to have order myself some of these.

Thanks for the reply but candidly I can't see how the speed of the release has much to do with it. Given the underlying effort in creating such figures, it can hardly be a shock that they were going to be available at some point. If you wanted to try and sell as many sets as possible before offering the individual figures, that is up to you. I am still surprised at orders in advance of even pricing and online ordering. Fortunately, there is nothing in this hobby I cannot live without.:);)

Cheers! Spitfrnd, hope we can meet in Chicago.

Best regards,
