New Normandy buildings! (1 Viewer)

Would these French houses be OK for the Napoleonic period? 1800-1815

King's Man

Hello King's Man,
Yes indeed! We designed these buildings to be typical for the late 18th Century and chose not to include any "era specific" details so they could be used for a 200+ year span. So feel free to display your Napoleonics with these buildings one day, and display your WWII the next day!
All the Best,
Ericka

Could someone please tell me where I can see and buy these:confused::eek:

Rob

I would love to order one of the twelve sets. Please let me know how. I tried contacting you through your website but got an error message when I tried the e-mail button.

Hi All!
Let me try to get answers to your questions before we head out the dooor for the Valley Forge show.

Sorry about the communication issue on the new website... we will get it fixed. In the meantime feel free to contact us at kaosen056@aol.com.

We haven't even uploaded the images of these to our website... all of the images are here, and you can buy direct from us, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and PayPal accepted.

Here are a couple of pictures of all three buildings side by side.

Here they are again with a few K&C German infantry walking by in extended order for security...

We were asked if these would work with Napoleonic era figures... Yes of course. These buildings represent construction that was common from the eighteenth to the nineteenth centuries and in some cases still are in use today. Here we used the W. Britain Jane Austen series figures to represent a recruiting party during the occupation of 1815.

Feel free to contact us with any other questions.

A few more images of our new Hudson & Allen French buildings with a few 1st legion figures.
The Western front was bolstered by units transferred from the fighting in the East. Here we see a couple of wary infantry working their way down the street of a small town...

All three buildings and the road section are now available direct from Hudson & Allen Studio. Please read the postings proceeding this for pricing information.
Thanks for looking,

What are the measurments of the sideway part of the village street stand?

King's Man

The street at the left end is 5 1/4" wide and turns onto the street that runs the full length of 27 7/8". this latter length is more exact than our listing of 28" so you can be a bit more precise if you are measuring an area up. We can always shorten the length if your shelf is shorter than this.

I just wanted to let you know that Ericka and I are leaving for Valley Forge. We will answer any additional questions when we get back early next week, and as mentioned feel free to contact us at kaosen056@aol.com.
Here are a couple images until then, the first two are a views of the roof and chimneys of the single and muli-family dwellings.

and a final image of the French Cafe & Apartments and the French Single Family Dwelling with some K&C Infantry for scale reference. Notice that I placed one of our Stone Wall sections behind the end building. These match perfectly and will enable you to develop a larger village. We will have more additions to this important element announced soon too. Please visit the Treefrog Treasures store to see our stone wall sets and Urban Debris.

WOW. These are simply OUTSTANDING............ Please DON"T stop here.
Can we expect to see any bombed out buildings or any 4 sided buildings?
Great work. Looking forward to more releases.:)

Having seen these magnficent buildings at the Valley Forge Show Friday, I can state, without reservation, that these buildings are the finest I have seen in the hobby to date. The sculpting, painting, and overall finish of buildings is about as real as can be.

Ken and Erika told me that they will be making battle damaged buildings, as well as a church with translucent stain glass windows.:cool::cool::cool:

Despite the fact that I can't even begin to imagine where I will find the space to display them, I will definitely be buying the battle damaged buildings and the church.

Thank you so much!

I have finished a couple more patterns and we will offer them next month. We will definitely be adding full buildings and damaged/destroyed buildings to this range, including larger structures.

There are currently some wonderful figures and vehicles available from several makers and these new scenics we are offering should be a great addition to your displays.

There will also be North American buildings offered by Fall of this year... we will keep you posted!

All the Best,
Ken Osen

This sounds very exciting indeed. Very much looking forward to seeing these if they are anything near as lovely looking as these pictured here. As it stands, my first building purchase is going to be the excellent looking WB barn coming out later this year.

Tremendous, wow!!!! Can these be ordered thru treefrog or do we go to you direct?

Thanks for the kind comments all!
I have been working on the next few items to add to this range, but I have to admit that the next few weeks are busy. On top of the usual scheduling, the War of 1812 living history season is upon us.
At the moment we are accepting orders for these first items direct. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
Thanks!
Ken

Ken, I received my 3 buildings and again they are strikingly beautiful and the packaging was A+++...if you keep making them like this, I'm going to keep buying them!

Thanks again!

Thanks so much for all of the kind comments! It seems like we have sent these buildings to all points of the compass already. We are working on some new patterns, with at least one making it's appearance in the next couple of weeks. We will keep you posted.
I would love to see how these are displayed with folks collections.
