New/Old K&C Christmas Set (1 Viewer)

Guys,
In the spirit of Christmas I was able to pick up this old 2002 Christmas set to add to my collection from a Texan mate of mine (Ray, Forum name - nmrocks) who I don't think has posted for a long time. Looking forward to catching up with hime again at the 2013 Texas Show.
One of the first Christmas sets released by K&C and an appropriate purchase at this time of year.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Happy Christmas to all at Treefrog.

Congrats Howard, I picked up the 2003 from Ray. I thought the 2002 set was missing Santa and the Toy Bag?

Markey mate,
The one Ray had on Ebay that sold for over USD$200 to a French collector had a Dickens figure DO34 (Christmas Mr.Pickwick sitting on Bench) in it instead of Santa and his bag on the bench. I queried Ray on this set about two days before the auction ended and he said that was the way he purchased it many moons ago. He is a Texan gentleman and I had no reason to doubt his word. He mentioned he had another set buried in storage somewhere so I asked when he uncovered it would he sell it. He found it and we agreed on a fair price.
I have found that a lot of old K&C sets that find there way onto Ebay do not have all the original pieces. Sometimes the seller is aware of this and sometimes they are selling in good faith of what they purchased. I always refer to my photo album of Old and New K&C sets to establish whether right or wrong before bidding.
I hope this clears up the mystery cobber.
