New POTC movie (1 Viewer)

My daughter and I just got back from seeing it in 2-D at a small local theatre. Fun. There's mermaids, the Spanish, and whatever the Guards regiment was for George II.
I love Ian McShane but he needed to be MORE "Blackbeard-ish." Turn it up a few notches on the Robert Newton scale.

Wife, daughter and I saw this last night in 3D. Got cheap tickets and snacks as daughter works part time in that cinema. Not a big fan of 3D and normally would not be bothered to pay the extra for it.

Also a fan of McShane. Prefer Kierra over Penelope. Cameo by Judi Dench.

Good fun but only went because wife and daughter wanted to watch it. I have been looking forward more to The Hangover Part II.

Not sure if you waited Scott but there is a little scene at the end of the credits. Luckily my daughter knew it was there. Certainly not worth watching the movie again for and if you missed it I can PM you what it was. However it is a very long list of credits !! A lot of drivers and digital artists.

Going to go see it tomorrow.Will probably pm you after I get back as I'm not going to sit through 10-15 minutes of credits.Love the first movie,liked the second,couldn't wait until third one got over,Too convulted,focused on the girl too much instead of the reason the first one was so good,Depp.

Let me say we were the only ones who waited until the end of the very long credits !

Whilst the scene raises a smile or minor laugh I am not sure it was worth the wait. Would have been better if the credits had some blooper type scenes to get you through to the end.

Enjoy the movie. Jack Sparrow has to be one of the best movie characters (along with Oddball).

I learned my lesson and always stay until the end of the credits. I was hoping for more on the missionary and the mermaid.

Barbossa is a lot of fun and if he's in the next POTC film, he has two new more clean cut sidekicks after the apparent loss of Pintal and Regetti. I would like to see what happens to the missionary. He was last seen like the hero in the HP Lovecraft movie Dagon.

I took my 8 year old cousin with me and we both liked it.More focus on Capt. Jack like the first movie.The first movie was the best but I thougt this was as good as Dead Man's Chest.Worth seeing and yes a 5th movie is in the works.I did not stay until the end of the credits.
