New Product Sneak Peak! (1 Viewer)

2009 it gonna be the year for Pacific action. CS will dominate and make other mfrs. to take notice. WHen is the HBO series Band of Brothers- Pacific coming ot? does anybody know?

Kingtoot: I whole-heartedly agree with your statement. I think Brian will do the Pacific the way it was meant to be done all along.

I haven't checked thier website lately, but I thought it was late 2009--must look for myself.............Stryker II

I would love to see someone make bold moves and come out with USMC Frozen Chosin sets of fighting Marines..that would be awesome..

This is a very nice looking vehicle indeed. For me it marks a return to the quality of the Marder and armoured car CS produced sometime back now,as the Stugs in my view were a let down.Would welcome this model in my armoured forces:).

Rob, I just ordered the Normandy CS Stug,I have the Marder and the Armoured car:they are super models. Please tell me why the Stug is inferior before i close the deal ,thanks,

IMO, you won't be wasting your money. All three (3) vehicles you’re planning to get are done well. The STUG III in particular, was produced very well and the armor skirts are detachable and can be reattached back easily. The vehicles are fairly durable and solidly constructed especially for price.

I picked up a couple of STUG III’s (w/o figures) off eBay inexpensively and will be repainting them soon. However, the camo STUG III versions are fine but I’m just a little crazy about re-paints. In the past I picked up three (3) armored cars and two (2) Marder III from George (Minuteman) and haven’t regretted it. The figures are still a bit larger than 1/30 for my tastes since I like mix 1/32 scale figures in dioramas.

Harvey, myself and James (Easy)checked these out in London. And we just didn't like the paint schemes.I guess out of the two we saw (Normandy and Winter)the Normandy version was slightly better. The winter version did not look good to,me.It had a very 'Minty fresh' look, far to 'new' in my view.As i say the Normandy version was slightly better although i didn't like the bright red colour in the camo. However this is not a criticism of Collectors showcase in general,as i said the Marder and the armoured car are superb and i like their newest release. Its just these days with prices going up everywhere if i'm going to buy something its got to push all the right buttons, else the credit card stays in my wallet;)

Kingtoot: got on the web and went for HBO THE PACIFIC. It says its full speed ahead, they wrapped up and have shown John Adams, and hopefully the Marine saga will be released this year!!

I would love to see some Korean War marines during the chosin fighting myself--my brother was there then.............Stryker II

Great! I am anxiously awaiting..finally some decent airplay on Pacific fighting coming soon. I'm clearing out all expendable kits, figures, etc. for these upcoming figures from CS. I tip my hat to your brother. nothing like getting shot at AND freezing your *** off at the same time!!
