Well my QB order arrived today (QB-01, QB-03, QB-04, QB-05, 2xQB-06, 4xQB-07 & 3xQR-01) and what can I say.

Great figures once again.

I picked up a couple of the new QB sets today and BM-04. We really need some more French in white uniforms along the lines of the Frontline figures. French flags too!

Combat,

If you have a look at John's web site in his workbench section you will see a French Regiment figure he plans.

Thanks Monty I did see that and the VA Regiment. Can't wait. Any idea when the next sets will be released? It seems like there are plenty of Indians and not enough French at this point. The Frontline figures are tempting but not quite the same quality - besides I'm running out of space.

Combat,

Yes we now have British Regiments for both battles and need some French troops. Which I hope are the next released.

I spoke to John last week and he was going to China to review the next lot of figures, but he was keeping what they are close to his chest.

He was going to put some news out this week, he said, I will let all know if I hear anything.

The new releases are usually available towards the end of the month, so the June releases will be announced in a couple of weeks and yes Ron, I will have them for Annandale on the 9th of June...............

Greetings from Oregon. I just opened my shipment of the new QB series. They are really great except for the Wolfe figure (QB01). Maybe it's just me but it doesn't seem to have the same look and "feel" as the others in both this series and the BM series or even the older RR's. Is it just me or do others out there feel the same way. Best regards and happy collecting.

Steve-
It does look a little out of place - particularly given how great the death of wolfe set turned out. Also it apparently is not a limited edition for some reason. I do have to say that I like my QB-01 more than the horrible picture that JJ uses to promote it. BTW: Hope you had a great time in Gettysburg. If you feel up to it, send me a PM and let me know what you liked or did not. Just curious for the outsider POV since I see it everyday.

Alright - I plan to do the same thing when I get Wolf's Death - nobody will really know anyway ;)

Every time my daughter comes over to visit, she seems to have so much fun making changes to my set ups. She often has a Dragoon taking on a Tiger or a Panzer IV taking on my Woodland Indians. She especially likes to put guys under the treads of tanks.

I have day dreamed often about time travel. What if you could take an armored brigade back in time (with enough supplies) to take on say the Mongols or Alexander the Great or see how well Napoleon would do against a company of M1A1's. A person could, in theory, really conqueror the world. Nice to dream eah.
