I just took a look at your website and spotted to WWII Germans at the top of the page. Anybody else see this ? Matt is this a hint for a new Range?:)

I have never seen first legion in the flesh but those 2 figures look
outstanding in that shot .

Just went and looked at the site and it appears to be a great looking pair of figures up in the corner of the page. Not that I expected any different! I bet we will have more information in a couple of hours. You know how quick Matt is to address our inquiries, which is always appreciated.

From the website:

Two curious and heavily armed gentlemen in feldgrau seemed to have driven Marshal Berthier from the top of our home page and are now threatening Napoleon's flank!!! All we have to say about this for now is...................................

Coming VERY soon....

The Arms and Armies of World War II 1939-1945

Sign up for our mailing list for the official announcement and start of the pre-order in late April/Early May.....

Thanks for the heads up Jagdpanther.

Nice teaser Matt. Very nice indeed.

If they are like those figures shown, I am in. I need all the early war guys I can get.

They're better in person than in the images I think, but I'll leave that for you all to decide when they are released....:D

That's all I'll say about this for now so feel free to speculate, but I'm not answering any questions about the range. I'm just having a bit of fun today with a big teaser of what is to come. The "official" announcement and the pre-order for the first 17 figures will start in about a week or so, give a take a few days, and at that point any and all questions that you may have will be answered. So, if you haven't already, sign up for our mailing list to get the announcement.

Guys, I can honestly say, that I'm as excited about these figures as much as a collector as I am for First Legion.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Regards,

Matt

:) What is the Size of the NEW Fortcoming WW2 Figure's? Never heard of this Toy Company in the Past? CIAO!

A couple of general questions since I have only admired but not collected any First Legion:

Are the WWII figures sold individually or in sets or both?

Is there a production limit for each set or figure?

Congratulations on what would appear to be another stunning line Matt.

Having collected well over 50 (not counting duplicates) of your Napoleonic figures I am certain the WWII collectors will be more than a little impressed;;) your figures do look better in person.

John, take a look in the Matt By Manufactuer forum category; they only have 1500+ posts since they were added about a year ago.;) You WWII guys should get around more.:D

Looks like another stunning line in prospect, will be sticking to naps but no doubt will have to pick up a couple along the way,ive no doubt some will be too good to resist.
I think these will sell like hot cakes and probably be more popular than the naps.Maybe even a few K&C die hards will think again when they see these.
If they dont they no not what they're missing.

These new WW II figures look very nice. I am sure they will be a big success, but don't let that take you away from releasing tons more new Napoleonic figures.:)

Matts assured us that the Flag ship naps will continue in good order:) regardless of other releases

Glad the cat is out of the bag now (well sort of); you all will have to wait as to WHAT battle the first WWII figures will depict, but all I can say is after seeing the masters is WOW, these figures are just jaw dropping.

And Matt best of luck to you with Gambale.............

They look amazing! And the title of the range "The Arms and Armies of World War II" - how broadly will FL range????

Are the WWII figures sold individually or in sets or both?

Mostly individual, but both. You'll see why very soon.

Is there a production limit for each set or figure?

Well, not really, however, our production runs are always very small because of the painting quality and the amount of time it takes to produce figures like these. These aren't your standard toy soldier paint jobs where you can produce hundreds per day - it takes a LOT longer than that. And, it's always better to produce new figures than to go back and do additional production runs of old ones.

Well, the cat has poked his head out is an looking around. He won't leave the bag for another week or so, so MUM's the WORD at the shows buddy! ;)
