Speaking with John over the last few years, my quess is either Aztec/Mayan/Inca and the Conquistadores (I believe he had mentioned that this was one of his first war-gaming themes) or a Greek or Roman theme as he once asked me if I had read any of the Simon Scarrow Roman series and what I thought of them (I have Scarrows whole series on Cato and the Legions) Only my opinion, time will tell.
