Since FL's coming out with the Romans and Ken voted for ancients and FIW,FIW WINS!^&grin^&grin
Mark:salute::

I think we can assume that Britains will indeed produce FIW in matte, from hereafter. My vote for regiments is some vivid and ragtag Canadien militia, and some 60th Americans.

Some ragtag French colonial troops would be great too.Would love some officers like Langy,Beaujeu who dressed in combination colonial uniform/indian style.Don't forget the indians!

I would love to see something with The Last of the Mohicans! Maybe some colonial militia and the 35th to go with the 60th!

That would be great news bud- a win for me with the Romans from FL and then a win for you with the FIW- great times to be a collector!!

These all sound like good suggestions and I have a little practice here already with the gloss F&I range we have. By the way... expect to see more added here too, we have had a fair number of requests for additional troops and poses here, and we have listened!

the french and indian war and the indian wars of the plains are a favorite of collectors for the future

It looks like FIW and Plains Indian Wars are leading the pack! Those are the two I voted for. I already mentioned some of the things I'd like to see from FIW. But for the PIW I'd like to see them start with the Little Big Horn. You can do so much with as far a figures go with this battle. I think a cool vignette would be Custer saying good bye to his wife Libby at the Little Heart River, based on Don Stiver's print. And over all the Last stand made up all Britains would be fantastic! Or how about 2nd Lt. Hodgeson holding onto a trooper's stirrup trying to get across the river! What do guys think?

The Little Bighorn would be a great series. A relatively small engagement w/a large number of recognizable personalities. A lot of books have been, and are continuing to be written on the subject, so it would be easy for the collectors to keep their interest peaked as the series unfolds.
Osprey's Men-at-Arms #408 ''Warriors at the Little Bighorn 1876'' is a great sorce of info on the appearence of many the Sioux and Cheyenne personalities on the day of battle.

Just voted and don't make it a secret^&grin... FIW, Plains Indians Wars and Ancients: each of the 3 would catch my attention, especially the 1st two (already considering FL Romans).
