Hi I am just starting to get right into WB Zulu collection and was wondering if they are planing any more new ranges in the future. I find that they suit my budget and produce some great figures. I would be over the moon if they released a Boer war range. Just some thoughts and what do other collectors of WB would like to see in the future. Chris.

Yep, Boer war might my bag as well, some of the British Zulu figures should cross over in that range also. The Young Winston film is inspirational along these lines. Would image Britain's would be all over this series given their Nile range is also a close fit. Cheers, Robin.

Britains did produce several Boer War sets in Gloss, here are a couple of examples with links to current Ebay auctions

I'll go along with this!

I love all of they current ranges/offerings but I find it hard to cherry pick so I stick with one theme, the Zulu War. Hard enough keeping up to date with all the release from that series.

Richard did say there will be a release of some ceremonial glossies in the future though {eek3} best get saving :p

Around 3 years ago they did a 24th marching band in Gloss, always wondered what the collector response would have been if this had been done in Matte also. I certainly would have liked it, anyone else? cheers, Robin.

YES YES YES

Just not all at once please :)

I would like to see some non-war Zulu war stuff :p maybe some members of the 24th playing dominoes or chatting over a tankard of ale all in the same vein as the Trophy stuff that was made.

I was thinking about both the drift & Isandlwana, some vignettes around the kitchen stoves and perhaps some figures around meal time. To round off the range, some personality figures, rocket vignette, signals vignette and mounted Lancers. Enough there for another 2 years. Cheers, Robin.

I'll send my man around to clean your kit.
Thank you
No bother, I was not offering to do it myself....

hahaha- you nailed some of my favorite quotes- I once was presented a plaque with the "mud pies" part!!

-"pipes and ascots, tunes of glory"- is now my favourite description of the goings on of junior officers in private conversations.

how about you guys just keep doing what yer doin' I love it!
