New Release: BRAND NEW ROME 43 AD

TCS is synonymous with action and we hope there is no let down with our latest Rome 43 AD release. We've put three poor legionnaires in a rather precarious and deadly scenario. In fact I'd say its a downright demise! Turned on with their very own pilum! This great five figure offering just adds another layer of Roman carnage to your curio. All five arrive in November. If your not on the catalog mailing list, get on it, its free! www.thecollectorsshowcase.com

CS00978 Roman End 1 figs $37.90
CS00979 Roman Defender figs $37.90
CS00980 Roman Hit 1 fig $37.90
CS00981 Barbarian Axer 1/fig $37.90
CS00982 Barbarian With Pilum 1/fig $37.90

Tally Hoo!

Love them!

I've been waiting for a Celt with that style shield too - thanks!!

Wonderful dynamic poses Brian! Reminds me of Conte's best Roman/Barbarian figures i.e. Behold the Glory of Rome. I have had to use Viking Axe Men in my Roman/Barbarian dioramas until now.
You are the master of the dynamic pose IMO.

The shield device on TCS Romans is the Thunderbolts of Jupiter and Wings as used by Legio XIV, the 14th Legion Geminia. Conte Roman figures also use thhis shield device and are size compatible with TCS Romans. Current TG and K&C Romans use different shield devices.

What legion does the shield represent? I do like the action.

Great figures always get the CS range, but the bases need to be larger very small , and even on very fine grass mats the tend to be unsteady ,

CS consider going back to your early pieces mounted and foot all had very large bases which enhances the figure also

I got the Celts and the 'seated' Roman today and really like them! I also had a look at a few of Jenkin's Gauls and decided that they'd work really well with the Celts - and they do! I'm really happy with the way this display is looking.

I've mentioned before that I'm unhappy with the new larger/brighter Roman shield, this is still the case. But I note that it is the one being used with the Tesudo, so it probably needed to be bigger to work there. These might also be more compatable with the other Roman figures being produced by other makers. Perhaps, a neat way of conveying the image of different legions, or the First Cohort or whatever. If you're only just getting into this series, they're very action orientated and with the many non-shield figures still available, you would have a decent display very quickly.

I'd also suggest that people collecting the Jenkins Gauls look to add a few CS Celts in. The (mostly) bare-chested and tattooed Celts are perfect in scale and add a lot of colour and movement.
