New Release: Butternut Rebs!

TCS is pleased to begin announcing our February releases. Our first set up is a brand new clutch of Butternut Rebs. As early as 1862 Confederate militia uniforms were threadbare. Replacement duds were at a premium with dyes being a long forlorn luxury. The use of nuts and other substitutes, then relegated the long grey legions of 1861 to a motley composition of Butternut and grey, such as you see depicted here
.
These great poses fit perfectly in any diorama of the period. Chock full of TCS action we’re certain they’ll be gone far sooner than the soldiers they depict. We’ll release these sets in February along with bunches of other goodies to be announced.

Happy New Year!

Tally Hooo!

Look at FL and WB figs for detail on blankets, no comparison. Doubt if CSA carried flags with the gold fringe, especially after the first yr of the war. Poses and facial features look odd.

Fringe can be painted.

agree the faces look different from previous releases. almost as though by a different manufacturer.
different factory?

I have virtually all the TCS ACW ranges , and I think they are fantastic. best dynamic animation out there
in my opinion.........but less keen on paint style of this latest one.
