New Release: EZ8 Sherman With Sand Bags! (1 Viewer)

First legion created the confusion about their figure size by publishing the size as 54mm on their website. Only since Ken Osen aquired W. Britains has the figure size been stipulated on their website as 58-60mm for matt figures. Confusion reigns in the Toy Soldier market because some manufacturers refuse to acknowledge the actual measureable size of their figures. WB and FL have finally published or corrected their figure sizes; I wish the rest would too.

So your agreeing with what I said then that FL & WB are 1/30 scale ! :wink2:

I did not disagree; as I previously stated WB and FL advertised their figures as 54mm; when in fact they were 60mm, causing considerable confusion among collectors. Even today many dealers advertised WB as 54mm and when collectors compare WB and FL figure size they sometimes assume both are 54mm. A contributing factor to the confusion is that some FOV armor is oversize and will be size compatable with WB and FL figures. The FOV Panzer IV, Jagdtiger and M26 Pershing are significantly ovescale, many more may also be closer to 1/30 than 1/32.

Neil WB were 1:32 as Katana stated they have only recently announced the are now 60mm and as they have not yet made any tanks since the new ownership previous tanks would have been 1:32 also. I think I remember Ken saying years ago that the gloss were 54mm and the matt figures were more like 56mm. and the I also seem to recall FL advertising as 1:32, when the change happened I do not know.

But enough of this scale issue, lets get back to the EZ8 ! PLEASE.

Brian; will this M4A3E8 be size compatable with your excellent Sherman reloading set?

Neil I said before the new ownership, so yes the Schwimmwagen is 1:30 We were also talking about tanks which a Schwimmwagen is not.

The latest TCS catalog hit my mail box yesterday. The Easy 8 and all its variations is there along with other neat stuff; like modern US Marines with a HUMVE, a 1/6 Clint Eastwood figure of the Man with No Name from a Fist **ll of Dollars et.al. Great **n !

Nothing of interest

Nowadays almost everything is cheaper than KnC.

I would not mind the price so much if the quality were equivalent. K&C at FL prices is pathetic IMO.
TCS armor is much better and the figures are equal in quality. Plus K&C and TG figures are size compatable with TCS figures and armor.

Nice new Sherman, has option of the 4 hatches open or closed. The sand bags are a great option and the reason I purchased this tank. The 3 piece set of bags fit over the tank, front and sides. Of course the track thrown option is another great feature. 10 out of 10 Brian. Robin.

I received mine just before Christmas and very happy with it and as Robin mentions the hatch option plus thrown track just make it a must have

Mark
