'Vive L'Empereur' ! New Release: Old Guard At Waterloo

TCS continues to roll out our Napoleonic Range with these fine Old Guard sets. There are 16 poses in 8 different sets.

The Guard Dies But Does Not Surrender! These are some of the last words uttered by the guard at Le Belle Alliance as the battle of Waterloo drew to a close. This is the moment we've captured, a moment that truly draws the curtain on the longest lasting modern continental conflict ever seen.

Our sets now incorporate all of the shading, washes and dry brush that collectors currently enjoy with TCS Napoleonics. These limited edition sets ( 400 ) maintain our attractive market pricing with all of the details you expect in above market vendors.

Fill your battlefield with the Emperor's reserve, defend yourself against the pitiless English enemy: to arms! , to arms! Sets will be available for pre-order in a matter of days with your local dealer or at TCS. Our Old Guard sets release in mid January along with our King Tiger, Patton Command vehicle and...

Not my area of interest but some stunning animation as usual.

Another fantastic release Brian. :D
These Old Guard look a cut above other manufacturers versions IMO.
I will be buying them all. Well done CS you are winning on price, quality and originality at the moment (again my opinion).
I bought a couple more Voltigeurs at the London TSS on Saturday but was a little disappointed at the lack of CS soldiers on the day. The two dealers showing CS soldiers didn't have what I was looking for.:(
My next step is to complete the French artillery (two sets to go), to buy the Chasseurs and then I'm on these Old Guard.:D:D
Cheers

A nice looking set and a marked improvement in the faces for this line. Congratulations on a nice release.

Brian, I think you all deserve great credit for that. I also think these are some of your best poses. I really applaud your consistent commitment to dynamic action but some of the prior releases in this line seemed to compromise realism and believability to achieve that. This one seems to retain the former without falling err to the latter. Again, I think this is a nice achievement.

Um,
These figures look seriously outstanding.
I can't wait...
