safe travels Gary, i image you eill need a very big house
Thanks Jason large house with suitable outbuilding on the shopping list.

Split between Devon and Cardiff.

Only Tasmania part of the collection being shipped currently. One 20ft container at $11,000 AUD! NZ part would need to be 40ft container costing a small fortune.

Gary

I relatively recently moved to Bristol, both those areas have their merits, beautiful scenery, loads of history, Welsh cakes or Cream Teas/SW Pasties. A difference in prices ofcourse, I think Devon just swings it for me, fare enough you have Caerlian and Caerwent Roman towns in South Wales, nice to visit and the Brecons for walking. But Devon, relative close to the Tank Museum and a swift ferry trip from Poole or Pompey [know a bit further East] to Normandy etc. Loads of walking and cyclin g countryside there and Somerset Cider would flow freely into Devon..........

Best of luck finding a place, hope to meet you at a London show sometime or when Blake has one of his get togethers, as a few times 2 to 4 of us have met up with him at his place in Warminster and then went to a pub lunch.

If TM is not going to release US cavalry, will the enemies of the sioux be crow, pawnee or shohon?^&confuse^&grin

We currently own a 17th century cottage on Dartmoor which has been rented out for around 12 years. We are going back to that plus initially renting a crash pad in Cardiff to be close to work. With a degree of home working my time will be split between the two locations. Unfortunately neither will have room for the toy soldier collection. That will come when our house in New Zealand is eventually sold and that part of the collection is shipped to the UK. Then it has to be the big house with hopefully a barn that can be converted for the display of the collection. By time will tell!
