Wow!, That 109 and pilot are another must have!!{eek3}
By the way what other allied airpower was used to oppose such aircraft that might be made?
Neat site. Quite a variety of aircraft, a real mishmash. I'd like to see the two Polikarpovs, the I-15 and I-16, get done. There is just something kind of iconic about them and the SCW. -- AlThis is a nice website with pictures: http://www.zi.ku.dk/personal/drnash/model/spain/did.html
How about the HE-112!
LOL. I , too, would like to see the bonnie Prince. -- AlSomething for everyone ? - I don't think so. Sorry to see it, but another month of releases goes by without anything new for collectors of the Jacobite Rebellion.
I'm desperately going through historical records looking for evidence that Clan Cameron might have had a primative bi-plane painted in clan tatan, or that the artillery fielded by Duke of Cumberland at Culloden were early facist made prototypes. - Might be the only way to get something new in this fine series. :rolleyes2:
The German armoured car is a vast improvement on the "fantasy" version K&C released some years ago. The Condor Legion Me-109 looks super. I've just bought a new Osprey book on Condor Legion aces, which I strongly recommend. The cover has great artwork of a Me-109 in action but I think its a D, rather than an E version.
That would make sense. I don't think the "E" versions showed up until the fighting was over. I don't know of any other "D" versions modelled - usually just "E"s and "G"'
It looks exceptional in the photos.

From a dealers point of view I think this has to be the best monthly release John has done.
My favourite would have to be the armoured car. His ambulance and this one are getting JJ new collectors who have not bought JJ before.
Well done John.

Brett
As someone suggested on another forum, John may have done the "E" because it can be modified for WWII battles. I would expect to see several variants of this plane.
Yep, expect to see John entering WWII range soon. It's getting crowed in here, LOL.

I agree. WW2 is swamped with product. No reason to enter an area that is so over-represented. JJD is doing just fine, IMO, and is doing a great job with the various "odd" areas that he has chosen to do. JJD appears to be going deeper into WW1, which is a winner with me. The SCW stuff is unique and the Jacobites are the best figures on the market. Who needs more WW2?:wink2: -- AlI am not 100% sure if that would be a GOOD move or NOT.
Everyone, not only has their fingers in the WWII pie, most vendors are up to their waist or neck in WWII figures. However, how many have the FWI / WWI planes / 1812 / Condor Legion / Jacobite and more ... done in such perfection as John has done??? Of course my view is (admittedly ) self serving, but the question is still valid.
