Good Morning from a very warm and sunny San Francisco Bay Area. Here’s hoping the UK catches a break and has a few weeks of dry weather for the Olympics. Good luck to Team GB.
I know everyone has been waiting with baited breath and the excitement was almost unbearable, so here are the answers to the John Jenkins Pop Quiz. John apologizes to everyone, as he cheated
The jjD taxi is in two colours, Maroon and Green, but mainly the jjD box colour “Maroon”
The Downton Abbey Taxi is Blue
My shirt was black.
Did you get it right?
On to the new releases and we have some goodies for you this month, the first one you know about, but we also have new French Artillery and Camels. What more could one want. I think this a great set of releases, that has something for everyone.
We should have these up on our web site later on this morning.
As always hope you enjoy the new releases as much as I do.

The Renault Type AG, or better known today as Taxi de la Marne (Marne's Taxi) was an automobile manufactured between 1905 and 1910 by Renault and was the first Parisian taxicab. The name Taxi de la Marne was not used until the outbreak of World War I, when the fleet of Paris' taxis were requisitioned by the French Army to transport troops from Paris to the First Battle of the Marne, early September 1914.
It was not uncommon for civilian transportation to be used to ferry pilots and crews around the local area. They would also be used to fetch pilots who had been forced to land away from their official airfield.
