Good Morning we have update on this section.
Please note the following change in the Camouflage painting on the Pz 1’s
PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO AN OVERSIGHT, THE ORIGINAL PICTURES OF
THE 2 NEW PZKPFW 1’s SHOULD BE PAINTED IN THE CORRECT 2 COLOUR CAMOUFLAGE.
Many thanks to everyone especially Terry Storm, who emailed me to point out the mistake.
On 7th Novemeber 1938, a new order stated that the dunkelgrau/dunkelbraun camouflage pattern was to be applied by the troops starting immediately without regard to the condition of the earlier Buntfarbenanstrich.
The primary colour was dunkelgrau with 2/3 of the surface painted dunkelgrau and 1/3 dunkelbraun.
All Panzers employed during the campaign in Poland in 1939 and the campaign in the west in May/June 1940 were painted the dunkelgrau/dunkelbraun camouflage pattern.
