New Releases For February 2012 (1 Viewer)

I wonder if the Red Baron Santa will be released at a later date?

I hear that the Red Baron Santa, will probably not be released. The original shipment of these guys were lost/stolen. I hope he will re-release this next Christmas.

Pity appears the 2 Zulu club figures are one off's, I guess there is already too much product out there in this series for John to go down this road, but at least we have had a taste of what could have been. Cheers, Robin.

Looks like I am going to need a bigger airfield{sm4}.

I am not an aircraft fan myself but that is the most appealing scheme so far.

Are those German guys the first Toy Soldier meteorologists ?

Regards
Brett

I thought those guys were just counting the planes that were coming back from a mission to see who might have been shot down, like in "The Blue Max"

Very possible. A lot of the forward airfields were close to the front so it is also possible these two guys are monitoring air activity over the trenches. Lots of dio possibilities for this duo. -- Al

Robin you've only got Conte and WB providing sets an figures an far from covering the various units that took part in the Zulu War. As far as to much product out there I tend to disagree..............The Lt.

Joe, I hope John's AZW figures are well received and there's certainly no reason why they wouldn't be as they are beautifully done (like everything John puts his hand to). It would be nice to see John continue to make figures for the AZW even if only to make up a small display. :)

As nice as the Zulu figures are, John is not going to be doing a Zulu range. He said so and has a lot of ranges to work on. He is only one person after all. We might get a few one offs, but they would be more than a few years out. And again it is a "might get" not a "will get."

John is a nice guy and likely doesn't want to disappoint anyone. So this may be his way to appease those asking for Zulus while acknowledging that it's being done by other manufacturers. He does have a very full plate with his many lines. And some collectors get frustrated when there are no new releases with whatever they collect. A very difficult task to keep everyone happy.

So true a statement.
