New Releases for February - What is going to be arriving. (1 Viewer)

I received all the Feb. JJ sets. Really impressed with the civilians. I wasn't too sure about them. Still a little uncertain on the 1812. They are a little bland for my taste, but my experience is that the more JJ sets that are released the better they look when displayed.

Combat,
This may seem silly so please bear with me.
Does JJ issue a monthly "Dispatches" similar to K&C's..?? If so, then how do I get my hands on them..??
Regards

Nothing official like the KC dispatch for collectors. The dealers get the information from JJ each month and then Sierra posts the upcoming releases here. I think some JJ collectors like Aussie are on an email list and get the info about the same time as the dealers. You can also email John directly if you have any questions. He will respond in most cases.

Hi lenswerks
Where can you buy this book as it looks excellent? Is it only available in the USA or maybe elsewhere?
Cheers RD

Yes, Don's books are great for reference material.
You should be able to get the book at any good book store. If not in stock ask them to order it.

I have most of Don Troiani's books. I think I got this one off eBay.
If you want to use eBay just search "Don Troiani" and most of his books should be found.

Soldiers In American
Don Troiani's American Battles
Don Troiani's Regiments & Uniforms of The Civil War

The Scott’s Brigade is not very colorful, but historic.
Once they get mixed up with the colorful opposition a display will look great.

Thanks for the great link. It gives me some idea about the possible look of the opposition for JJD's US 1812 line. I have not yet purchased the first set though have looked at it close up. Seeing all 7 sets pictured together as on Sierra's web site really has more of visual impact I think. I don't think there is any way I am going to be able to resist these sets. Thanks again.
