Like others I wonder what the ACW series will bring us in the future. Just navy or more general stuff? Curious experiment with the 2 and 4 figure sets too have you noticed the price differences?

now that is peculiar...$29 for a new series figure...that's pretty cheap...in fact...real cheap!!!

Yes indeed... I guess that ACW is going to be very popular the coming year, with Spielberg's Lincoln movie and all.

Its unusual for JJD to make such a low key introduction for a new series ... Mindful that JJD has always provided an immediate overview of their intended releases, such as for their recent Peninsular War and the Leutens ranges. JJD has also done one offs as in the Zulu War twosome.

It will be most helpful for collectors considering to get these ACW new release .. Or considering even the 4 pieces set, if JJD would share with us it's intended ACW releases in the coming months .... :smile2:

Much appreciated ...

Maybe it's just a way to dip your toes in the new range to see if you like it. I'm still hoping for a ship :)

The four figures set brings me back over the years.
Time ago I wondered of three or four sets as in the early days of John's production (or the vanished Frontline). Someone said that we would not be returned back.

Now it seems possible again!?

Why not release FIW sets of standing British or French soldiers (maybe similar two by two like these Marines) at a cheaper price suitable for Fort garrisons, sentry duties or parade line purposes?
