fantastic group of sets, my favour goes to the canoe carriers and to the marching Languedoc Rgt soldiers, very nice additions to any FIW display. I suggested two French soldiers carrying a canoe, so I see quite closely satisfied my wishes, thanks John.

Yes Mike, I too hope John makes a few more Lowlander sets to go with these - AND a colour bearer to denote a specific Lowland regiment. Since I believe Lowlanders and Highlanders were not mixed into the same regiment, I'm not sure what to do with these two fellows charging all by themselves... NOT too intimidating.:rolleyes: - Ken
 
How about this for a weird tidbit? Red Jacket and Rick James are buried in the same cemetery in Buffalo. Maybe they are singing a duet in the happy hunting grounds.
