New Releases for March 2020 - The Eighteenth Century Collection (1 Viewer)

Even if you don't collect the whole series, the trapper and his horses are very desirable pieces-stand alone figures for sure.As for Prince Charlie,we have been waiting a long time.Just one small point-most accounts of the battle of Culloden state that the prince was riding a GREY gelding on that day.But he probably had other horses or John just chose to present him on another day.

The American War of Independence series is coming along nicely. I'll be adding the colour bearer and the Mohawk warrior to my collection. Does anyone know what the plan is for the Rhode Island Regiment figures? To my knowledge, this regiment did not fight during the Saratoga campaign.

Brendan

Brendan,

You are right in that the RI regiment did not participate in the Battle of Saratoga. Richard correctly stated that they were encamped in upstate NY at the end of the war. The dio Richard made for the museum depicted that encampment and thus the reason JJ made the figures.

Like you Brendan, I have a deep interest in collecting this regiment and have emailed JJ as to his future intentions with this range. I have yet to hear back from him but I would sure like to see more RI figures made.
