I noticed that KC is directing its production towards "faster" painted uniforms. Till 3, 4 years ago many lines were developped,some with more complicated uniforms ( napoleonics, alamo, american revolutions etc), others, more simple uniforms ( modern armies in one or so colour), all at the same price.

Today, pratically only modern armies are made ( so cheaper costs): WW2, WW1, American civil war, Custer.....And when some of those take more time to be made ( indians, camouflage uniforms Market garden) they are classified as P or just have a huge price even without P ( indians).
Sure, many collectors asked for " grey" germans.....Well,now we have A LOT of grey germans...{sm4}

This rationalization of the production instead of diminish or contain the prices, has made them very quicky increase in the last few years.

What do you think, it this only my impression?

there has been a lot of recent releases with trenchcoats this could be indicative of what you say or, just covering what collectors are asking for. Not sure about other ranges as I am only really interested in WWII

I remember Andy saying it was less expensive to produce grey troops and AFV's so, the new interest in the early (ish) period of war may help the manufacturer
