"For those of you attending the Chicago show please feel free to pop round
and see some of our new Romans on display at the Treefrog, Sierra and Hobby
Bunker rooms.
Available in October from Gunn will be some marching Romans and some brand
new Auxiliary Archers.
Those of you going to the show will be able to buy these from the above
dealers a little earlier than everybody else"

Sorry I should have pointed out that there will only be a couple of sets with each dealer on display at Chicago, so if you see them and like them grab them whilst you can!

Best wishes The Gunn Team

You can imagine a line of those archers. Good there is some variety in their poses, makes for a fine display. Robin.

these look excellent, anyone have any idea on the different coloured helmets and where the auxiliaries come from, which part of the Empire?

I like the dedication to this line. Some really nice figures are being produced. Any word if that Centurion will be released with this lot?

The Centurion will follow in November I hope, along with the Imaginifer and an Aquilifer to form a nice command group of figures.
Happy Collecting!

Given that these Romans are in the same pose, I was just wondering if collectors out there would prefer these in boxes of two rather than single figures? I can fully understand figures with pila being sold separately especially if they're being thrust at a jaunty angle but the thing about collecting Romans is a lot are required to satiate ones needs, so 10 boxes of two would be more favourable than 20 containing one. It's all about space at the end of the day. It's all very well filling our cupboards with TG boxes but where the hell is my missus going to stash her nurses outfit? Answer me that.

Here are a few snaps of the Archers in the Treefrog Room!

The marching Romans do look good, but with them wearing greaves it does limit the era for their enemies as they weren't usual standard issue.
Though of course with everything being made in many small workshops every piece armour was individual and pieces of armour could last many years and being used perhaps even for a few generations of Legionary's during the early Imperial era.

A version without leg greaves will follow Steve, which hopefully will keep everybody happy and add a little variety to your marching column!

Boxes of four would be great.
