“This set is based on possibly one of the most recognizable images from the German newsreels taken during the failed German offensive in the Ardennes in December of 1944. It features men of the 3rd Kompanie SS-Panzer-Aufklärungs-Abteilung (Reconnaissance Unit), Kampfgruppe Knittel at the Kaiserbarracke Crossroads between St. Vith and Malmedy, posing for the Propagandakompanie or PK cameramen. We have been working on this set for some time now to compliment the many US vehicles and figures we are designing from this battle. I thought you might enjoy seeing a couple of photos of this set due for release in September. It comes with the signpost, three figures, Type 166 Schwimmwagen and accessories. Several additional figures are also in production to round out the scene.
Small details are yet added to the figures and sign…

I’m definitely looking forward to this set! I really like Britains earlier Schwimmwagen, but the figures and pose with this new set are fantastic.

Here is another figure we sculpted to use with the new Schwimmwagen, along with a few others we will show this fall. I will have this these to show at the September Chicago Toy Soldier Show.
