Richard has posted these fine sets on Facebook today, very nice looking and he also mentioned a return to WWII for some remakes of the BOSS series and WWII...Sammy

He's been posting new sculpts for sometime now but I haven't seen no production yet.A real shame.

Yea and Louis Marx has just reopened his factory and is producing a whole new line of toy soldier playsets. That has more of a chance of happening than any thing with Conte. I guarantee those sculpt are 10 years old. What don't you people get?

I wonder if Marx will reissue the playground sets????:):) look Gary, I'm just the messenger here, Richard has been posting a lot of new sculpts on his facebook page lately, as I said whether they are produced for the public I couldn't answer that, he did mention to another Conte collector about his health issues, family issues in recent years, but hopefully all is well now and Conte can rejoin the toy soldier world in 2016...Sammy

Richard has been posting pictures of sculpts for a while now. As the months pass the likelihood of them seeing the light of day recedes further and further. We all live in hope that they will. %^V

I have to agree with the other Gary; Conte is VERY prolific at producing prototypes and photographing them and publishing said photos. We have seen full prototypes and discussion of the "new range of..." (fill in subject of set). OK, we have seen some metals on occasion but ask yourself "when was the last complete set of metals?" The last new plastic was the Spartans, then the WW2 before that. My boys were still in high school when Conte last produced new plastics (and they are all married with children of their own). So forgive us if we don't do cartwheels until we see boxes of new product on the shelves.

Well said Gary. It's too bad. Conte got me into this hobby and made a lot of great stuff, but I think he burned a lot of bridges with factories and customers. When I see photos of "new" prototypes I just have to say "really?" And please buy a new camera already! lol

I am hoping it does happen, I did love having the Zulu pieces including the 24th foot. Had and liked the metal Persian pieces. But was too late into getting the Spartans, except for the one with the leaping Spartan. If they re-do those for starters it might just spark enough interest for people to believe again.
