Picked up my Lysander from T Gunn yesterday and what a beauty, one of my favourite aircraft. My photography ability does not do the plane justice.
Saw some of the other aircraft while there, lots of new aircraft but i will not throw out any spoilers as it would not be fair to T Gunn. Planes released that I saw which were stunning close up and really caught my eye include,
WOW283 Taube ‘Doped Yellow Version’
WOW289 Fw 189 ‘Night Fighter Variant’
WOW251 Siebel Si 204
Plus a WW1 German Float plane, but not sure which one it was.
Real thing at the Shuttleworth Collection, https://www.shuttleworth.org/collection/westlandlysander/
The Lysander III S.D. (Special Duties) was employed by No. 161 RAF Squadron on clandestine night flying operations from RAF Tempsford and Tangmere between 1942 and 1945.
Decided to add a few other bits for a dio, titles, waiting for my Taxi driver to turn up, the man in the Shadows
