Hi Guys,
after seeing all the wonderful Stadden figures being dispayed in this Forum, and in particular this section, I thought that I'd put paint to pewter, and finish off a figure thats been in my collection for about 5 years gathering dust. He was 'found' laguishing in an antiques shop in Greenwich, London, and brought back to Australia by a freind of mine who thought I'd like it for my collection, even though I oly collect 54mm. When I showed the image of him to Bernard last week, he informed me that the figures was in fact one relesaed under the name 'Buckingham Pewter' and is identified that way by the different style of base. He also said that the rifle had been damamged, and on close inspection, and comparison againt the catalog (kindly emailed to me) I decided to go into repair mode, and then paint this Guardsman to bring him back to his former glory.
Anyway, the proof is in the picture, so please let me know what you think, and critisim is welcome, as I love to get the details right,
regards,
John
