Fellow Cruasdes Collectors,
This two piece set, featuring the Scottish king, Robert the Bruce, battling the Englishman, Henry De Bohn, ties in to the previous offerings in the Crusades series better than I first thought it did. I found out today that Robert the Bruce had a contingent of Templar
cavalry fighting with him at Bannockburn in 1314, where he won Scotland's freedom. These Templars had sought refuge in Scotland, after King Philippe IV of France arrested all of the Templars in France in 1306. The Templar cavalry was a secret weapon of the Scottish king.
