The other thread has gotten so large i am not sure if i have the ans to my questions? 1 if i wanted to order the winter ver pictured how much total incl the crew would it be. is there other crew members going to be offered? if i wanted to place an order when will the web page be up to place the order. will there be a discount if i order 2?

thanks
Tom

Hello Tom,

The Winter Tiger costs $350. You should add $31 for each crew and $12 for each smaller piece (shoulders and head). You can order through Treefrog Treasures or any other Honour Bound dealer right now if you like. Our website will be online approximately on January 20. You should ask the dealer that you choose about the discount.

Happy New Year to everyone!

Ana (it's almost 10 pm in Spain :):):))

Tom, I forgot to add the shipping cost. If you want your Tiger shipped to your dealer and then to you the cost would be $45 per tank, and they will be shipped in groups of 6. If you want your Tiger shipped directly to you we'll use FedEx, you'd receive it in 48 hours once the tank is ready, and that will cost $70.

hi anna,

Anna, it would be much help to us, the customers, if you would layout your production plan for the year. If this is not possible, then quarterly.

For eg, after this late tiger, what are the next vehicles, and figures that will be coming out?

I state this case as this will affect the purchasing decision of the customers.

Take my case for eg, i did not yet purchased HB panther's as you mentioned that it will be remade with more details in the future.

But what about the Jagdpanther? Will it be remade? I have to make a decision soon, as it is very hard to get now, and if you're not remaking it, i'll grab it before the prices rise up sharply again.
But if you're remaking it, i'll rather wait for that one as it will be more superbly crafted.

Same goes for the tiger, will there be an early/medium version made in the future?

And the figures, what are the next ones?
Because if HB is concentrating on Vehicles only, then i will have to get K&C figures before they run out/discontinued. (For eg, if there are no tank riders to compliment HB's wonderful Winter tiger, then i'll have to get K&C's equally excellent winter tank riders)

Anyway, do pls tell us, and soon.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

NasirKasmani,

from the Sunny, Despotic Island of Singapore.

Hi Nasir,

Yes, there will be an early-medium version of the Tiger. There will also be a Sherman that you'll be able to customize, and a new Panther that you'll be able to cusomize too. And the Jagdpanther, and Bergepanther. What I can't say is when. And you can count on the crews of all the tanks that we released from the very beginning. I was waiting to release them as crew sets when we launch the new website, but the truth is that we have been selling them separately from that tanks for a long time now.

I'd love to give you a schedule so you can plan your year. But you need to understand that, as a complany, we can't show our plans to everyone because we wouldn't like to release a model of tank at the same time with other companies. No one wants that.

I'll be announcing the new figure sets in another thread. I don't have a list of future sets because we don't have a list. What we have ready is a set of Russian rangers and snipers and a German group of communications. These will be released during the next 2 months.

My apologies, Nasir, for not being able to answer everything you wanted. I hope you understand why we can't.

Happy 2008,

Ana

Hi Ana,

Whatever happened to the winter German figures in action that were posted on your HB site as works in progress? They were in fighting positions and wearing long coats. I was looking forward to the completion and release of those figures. Looked like a very promising set.

Sorry, Dragoon, I forgot about those. Those are coming in a very near future too.

Ana

Hi Anna,

Thanks for the prompt reply.

It is good to hear that you are remodelling the panther, bergepanther, and the jagdpanther. I'll definitely wait for them then.

May i know the production run for this late tiger and the troops?

and would you make/(repaint HB18?) SS troops to complement the late tiger? (For those of us who would chose the Leibstandarte)

Cant wait for 20th Jan!

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Nasir Kasmani.

Nasir,

Our figure sets our not numbered so no limited runs for those. The Tigers are made one by one, so each piece is unique. They will be signed but not numbered. We cannot consider a them a series if every piece is different from the other.

You can customize any of our figure sets as you want. You only need to send the necessary information of what you want. As long as it is only different painting there's no problem of making them as you wish.

Thanks,

Ana

Ana,
Just a quick question.
Could you do a "Kelly's Heros" Sherman for me? Might just go for a Tiger to display with it.

Best Regards
H

H,

We can't do it right now because the Sherman is not ready, but we will be able to make it when we release the model.

Thanks,

Ana

Great to hear about the early/mid tigers. I'll probably spring for one of those. Also nice to hear about the communications set and the possibility to customize any of your figures. That's an awesome advantage you offer over competitors.

If its in around 6 months from now, then I'll seriously, SERIOUSLY, reconsider my collecting strategy for 2008.

Best Regards

Just give Andy time, I am sure we will see a late K&C Tiger someday. I am sorry but K&C still makes the best figures and with their latest tanks, such as the AK Panzer IV and the AK Tiger, Look out!!!

Ana, has stated that HB will winterize the existing bases for the current crop of Tigers, if you order the winter Tiger.

Greetings steel wheel,

actually, i was refering to a winter base kind of Eastern front 'deep in the middle of nowhere' type with deep snow, mud and dead trees like we see in many Panzer books.

What i had in mind is to potray the difficulty & nightmare of the panzers and its crew in crossing the Russian terrain.

Saying that maybe a winterized version of the eastern front diorama (like a coming-up diorama that Anna mentioned with russian village houses) might also worked superbly. (But historically this might be incorrect, as by the time the late tigers appear, the Germans had been pushed out of Russia totally).

Anyway, i am merely suggesting and very much hoping, and chances are Anna and the boys will produce something much better than what i had sketched in my mind.

Sincerely,

Nasir Kasmani,
Singapore.

Nasir,
The Germans began fielding of the late Tiger I as early as Feb 1944 so there were many hard fought battles left on the Eastern Front where the late Tiger was involved.

Semper Fi!
