Hi! I'm new to the forum. Lots of collector friends have recommended I check this out and give it a try :) I'm new to toy soldier collecting but am very interested in American Civil War 54mm matte as well as WWII.
I'm currently working with toy soldiers at Crown Miniatures as their shop manager, and I've probably even met some of you at the shows! This is pretty much my dream job as I love history (there's always so much to learn!) and now I'm lucky enough to see it represented in toy soldiers every day.
Looking forward to chatting with some of you!

A warm welcome to the forum Sadie, hope you enjoy it here😊

You are in a great spot to start collecting in this fun hobby Sadie. Keep posting your progress and welcome to the world of historic miniatures. Robin.

Welcome to the forum, Sadie! I think Nick is a member, too.

Prost!

Welcome to the forum!

Are you the one who brings the cute puppy to the Texas show?

A warm welcome to the forum, Sadie.
Wow, what a place to start getting into the hobby. Manager at the Crown Toy Soldiers Shop. Love it :smile2:

Sadie, welcome to the forum! I am also a big fan of ACW 54mm matte figures. Have fun. Chris

Sadie...

poor Max...

he looks totally overworked...

Nick is a tyrannical mean overbearing boss isn't he?

^&grin

Mike:

I think you are still upset at Nick for the hippo incident at the Texas show.

oooooooh...you remember that...
he thought that was so funny...
I was ready to get the KingsX security team to do cavity searches...

and you were a prime suspect...^&grin

I am always a prime suspect! ^&cool

That was worth a laugh or two. I like the way we even looked under the table to see if it had fallen only to realize that Nick had hidden it in plain sight!
