New Treefrog Treasures Website!!! (1 Viewer)

As I have said before a very nice site now (not that the old one was bad) but I can't seem to find the 360 deg feature when viewing images of figures

Regards

Jeff

Jeff, maybe they are just not all finished yet.I see a lot of the WW2 figures are viewable.

There is some sort of icon in the bottom right corner that blocks a portion of the text and pictures - "Comodo"?

Hi Combat,
I noticed the Comodo icon covered up parts of the website at times (such as the link to the privacy policy) but the test audience told me it didn't bother them.
The test audience was a whopping two people ;) so if people find it too distracting we will find a different way to display the verification. I noticed the smaller the screen the more the icon covered up. It's not a problem on my screen but Mandi's is much smaller and it distracted me on hers.

The Comodo icon, like Brad said is like Verisign, assuring people we are who we say we are and are a safe and legit business.

We will collect feedback for a while and make adjustments as necessary.

Shannon,

I have a concern about one small item on your new website. In the Beau Geste menu, you list "Japanese Boxer Rebellion" as one of the options. Is this a correct label? I usually think of the Boxer Rebellion as a Chinese event. The same label is applied to the Beau Geste Boxer Rebellion page.

Please let me know if my understanding of the Beau Geste Boxer Rebellion line is in error.

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

Excellent interface, professional, user-friendly.

One small point, if you haven't already noticed, in Britains Redcoat section you have misplaced 1825 US Private.

Congrats on the new site very proffesional and soo tempting I put in an order!
Ray :D

Hi Guys,

Pat is correct the Beau Geste Line has the Boxer Rebellion labled as the Japanese Boxer Rebellion. But the site still looks great and will be very difficult to resist.

Dave

I have the Boxer Rebellion corrected. Any other category issues? We appreciate the help in tracking this all down.

Peter,

Yes, one more. When you click on the Beau Geste button, it takes you to the Beau Geste menu. On that menu, the Delhi Durbar option is misspelled (Dehli Durbar). Further, the same error appears in the page headings for each of the three pages of Delhi Durbar sets.

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

Thanks for the heads up. They are fixed.

Bugs

Bugs. Creepy crawly bugs in the system.
Anybody notice some strange and unexpected retirements in the toy soldier world today on our website?
Before you freak out and try to snap up the last of something (not that I'm discouraging you from ordering;) ) I thought I'd better explain what's up.
We had a rather unfortunate mishap today with a new "fix" to a problem we were having with getting the database and the website to talk to each other regarding retired items. The programmer misunderstood the meaning of "retired" and made it so anything with a quantity of zero was automatically labeled retired and anything with a quantity above zero was labeled current and not retired.
I have spent the last two hours fixing all the items that are retired but not labeled as such anymore. Meanwhile Pete has been at another computer fixing all the upcoming releases that ended up being labeled both pre-release and retired!
It will be a long night here but we will try to fix the ones that say they are retired but aren't before we alarm more collectors.
We expect to have everything back to normal soon. And the "fix" has been fixed so it will be smooth sailing hereafter.
Best regards and thanks for your patience,

Shannon

I saw that yesterday and went - oh no!

Just a few days ago I was talking with my good friend Tim Tyer and he was telling me what he was having trouble ordering from K&C. We then got into the what will be on the cut list for MAY.

As I was killing time in my office late yesterday afternoon - I saw these retirements and   - called Tim and said he should call you to find out if HRH - The Queen of Toy Soldiers has inside information? My point to Tim - GET INTEL FAST - because he was getting frustrated with his K&C orders, hold ups, etc......

Anyway - I heard the computer glich thing back from him. Whew......

I wasnt ready for a fast buying spree on everything that was being marked on your site.

You have a great store website - by the way - and I use it regularly to check on items and see what they look like. I even tell TIM that he should strive to be as good as you in the Web World.

Glad it was a false alarm - but, I still think that Summer Panzer is getting the axe in May.
