It just occurred to me that her pose is like she is in the second rank of the shield wall having protected herself and others from arrows shot indirectly. Now the pose makes more sense.

Congrats on your acquisition and thank you for the photos.

Being that she's the only Lagertha figure I know of in 54mm I'll probably pick her up at some point but somewhat disappointed in the pose. Perhaps any number of alternate poses would have been better?

1. What do you have her standing on ?

2. Is the arrow removable ?

The arrow is removable and the figure is on a book called Vikings by osprey publishing.
