New WB Series Debuts in Michigan (2 Viewers)

Great building Ken!!! I can see me getting a lot of this stuff to go with my Napoleonics.
This might even get the Wife interested????????
Maybe even a Napoleonic Christmas diorama set up for display around the holidays??? You could mix this stuff with whats available from compaines like lemax ect. and make a nice holiday set up and the wife wouldn,t even mind?

Some food for thought for you and Richard? There is a very large market for X-Mas Display iteams!$$$$$$$$ And all the buildings could also be used for us collectors also if you leave off the snow!$
Just bundle up the figures for a bit colder weather and they could be used for both this new line as well as X-mas seaon???

Hi Tim,
We have kicked that ball around too. Take a look at the Collectors Club set this year...An 1815/16 Guardsman being taunted by a young woman with some mistletoe. This was great fun to make and it and my mind went down the same path as yours.

I really do think there will be use for most, if not all of these figures with various Napoleonic subjects. I was tempted to picture the gentleman chatting with Napoleon and some staff members, but I simply ran out of time.
I also think all of the scenic components will find their way into dioramas beyond sets for Jane Austen's characters. I have selectively compressed the buildings to be a reasonable size and footprint for most displays...but not to the point of being mere characterizations of period buildings.

The March flyer should have the additional buildings, scenics and figures pictured, along with some additional Napoleonics.
Thanks!
Ken

I also suggested the X-mas idea as a way to help keep the price down as a larger run with a bigger market would help cut costs. buildings like this could be used in many ranges, not just napoleonics. I think this should be a good seller if the price is right?
You did a really great job on that building!
I,m in the process of trying to build one myself and know how much work goes into such projects, and mine is NOwhere as well detailed as yours.

I marvel at your talents Ken!!!!
The figures look great also!

Thanks Tim!
I really consider it a compliment coming from a skilled craftsman like you. Richard is in the UK at the moment debuting this new range at a gift show. We are hoping that this series will have some appeal outside our normal military collectibles circle. I know that several of the families I showed this to that do not collect military miniatures are interested in collecting the range. There are still so many great characters to do just for this one novel.
I am just keeping my fingers crossed that it catches on as this was really a fun grouping to design and sculpt! There are also sculpts of Jane and Elizabeth that will be in the new catalog that I did not have time to get pictures of.
Ken

All the best to Britains on their new series. It looks like a winner.
Mark

The images of Jane and Elizabeth Bennet are now posted at the Treefrog store for this new series. remember that all of these can be used with various Napoleonic era vignettes!
All the Best!
Ken
