FL has some very nice sets of the website!! The new Winter Germans look as good as the last Normandy sets done earlier this year.

These look very familiar.

They appear to be reissues of previous figures.

In fact I bought that FJ officer 3 years ago.

Sure, you're correct. When something sells out nearly instantly, it's a sign we didn't make enough. Rather than just produce more of the original figure, we think it's best to paint it differently.

And I'm glad you did Matt, as I blinked and missed out on getting the first Winter Fallschirmjager Officer. Not sad though, as I actually like the splinter camo trousers and white jacket on the new figure better than the first release. Same for the SS Machinegunner. The full camo parka suit looks amazing.

Keep up the excellent job...hopefully it's time for some more summer Waffen SS soon for Normandy...:salute::

Really nice, but pushing the boundries of prices for me. Close to $100 a figure.

Where you been??? Prices on all toy soldiers have gone up every year since I got into collecting 2007....I'd love the price of a soldier, vehicle to be priced like the good ol days, but reality is it's a brave new world, and I can promise you this...100.00 a soldier is out there, but they sell out constantly.

He's the pick of the litter for me as well, would prefer the fall pattern parka instead of the spring one but the colors and pattern look very well done.

Not familiar with the WSS second model anorak being made in brown/tan color worn by the guy with the Panzerschreck. I do like the Italian camo pattern one worn by the MG 42 gunner that is really nice, but I don't like that its being worn tucked into his pants, it just doesn't look right to me. But admittedly I'm really picky. :redface2:

It's nice to be able to pick up figures if you missed them the first time around but for the love of God can we please get more tank crews. Full figures, half figures, head and shoulders, black, grey, camo, winter, summer, anything. Once gone they are virtually none existent on the secondary market. For me, nothing compares to the FL tank crews and I've tried every other manufacturer. Don't mean to rant but man I would love more crews.
Also, where are the summer tank riders? I know the winter stuff is real popular but I'm sure summer riders would be a big hit!

Hope your listening FL

Love,

A big fan

I third this!

While War Park makes some excellent and very compatible tank crew figures, outside of a handful of sets, those don’t really work for the latter part of the war from 1944-1945. I’d also love some new Russian tanker half figures that can go in the hatches of the FL T-34s, T-70s, IS-7, etc. And while we’re at it, some more crew for the new Vietnam M113 APCs would be great too 😉

Nice for new ‘kids’ on the block.

‘Legacy’ collectors will make their own judgement.

Sammy:

Great post.

FL is going to charge whatever people are willing to pay for their figures.

If they sell at $100 they are going to charge that and if they sell at $105, they are going to charge that etc.
