I have just received news from Tommy's War, the British maker of 1/32 scale resin kits about their latest releases.

This month they have 2 Thornycroft J lorries, one in General Service made with side boards and canopy bows, while the 2nd mounts the 13 Pounder Anti-Aircraft gun.

I have painted most of the figures in the modest range, and it they are anything to go on, these will be superbly detailed accurate vehicles in true 1/32 scale.

Check them out and other figures and equipment on the website http://tommyswar.co.uk/

Seem a little expensive (I bought a WB Thory J on eBay for less than these go for) but could be a good buy for someone with the ability to assemble and paint. Note that the instruction sheets for equipment can be downloaded free . . . certainly an enticement for those who want to see whet they're getting into before purchase.

Just when I was wondering when I'd ever find a Thornycroft truck in 1/32! Will be checking them out pronto. Thanks John.

Amen to that! I have a few of their offerings; to include the 18 Pdr & Limber. The quality is such that I almost like working in resin; they're that good.
