After many requests we have designed an additional 3 new sets of WWII German Army Flak 88 crewmen. Rather than winter parkas, these figures are dressed in the typical all field grey temperate wool uniforms common from 1942 to 1945. The three sets will allow you to represent a fairly complete crew in the basic positions required to service the gun. Another single figure that is designed to work with these will also be offered soon. I set these new figures up in two different environments with the new late war Flak 36/37 rebuild on a late war carriage. With different backdrops the environment is very different, and Doug and I hope to carve out the time to design a couple more backdrops for even more variety. I also included the accessory sets of empty casings and transport crates in the second set up. Wartime photos often show large amounts of ready rounds and/or spent casings in positions. These 3 new sets of crew figures should be available in late summer/early fall and will be useful for any of the 4 versions of the Flak guns we will offer.

Great figures! W. Britains is certainly on the move with these items, never mind all the new US troops and the Sherman tanks!

Here are photos of the set configurations for the upcoming crew figures.

Ken, are there plans to produce any traditional gray uniformed German infantry like the crew above? Love the look of the early to mid-war Germans! :salute::

I'll second that. I would love to see some mid-war Germans in grey uniforms and low-boots with gaiters. There are so few Germans in grey uniforms that don't have jackboots, it's really the last German area that needs to be filled out.

THANKS FOR ASKING…
We have a number of figures currently in production to bolster our current offerings. Most feature uniform combinations for the 1941-45 period to compliment our Allied offerings for the same period of the war. Very few of our figures have jackboots, but they certainly continued to be worn until the end of the war. The current figures we have already sculpted include variations of the temperate climate wool uniforms, so look for more updates later this year. I suppose the advantage for collectors is that most of the Germans can be used for the Western Front, Eastern Front and Italy.
