Ok, we all know based on my rambling posts how much I dislike the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame and the MLB Hall of Fame. Usually, I think the NFL gets it right.......................but and I know I am a Steelers Homer.....................how the hell does Hines Ward get snubbed again AND Devin Hester (a kick returner only, albeit an excellent one) get the nod in the WR category as a finalist over Ward? Ward has the numbers, he has the Super Bowl Ring and he has high touchdown numbers compared to who is in the hall (if that is the standard). You can't tell me there is NOT a Pittsburgh bias. I am hopeful he eventually gets it and I think he will, I just hope its not like the Donnie Shell ordeal of years and years.

Like I said, most of the time the NFL gets it right, but when they blow it, they really blow it.

The NFL Hall of Fame has just as many hits as it does misses.

I have said it before and I will say it again, George Seifert belongs in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

His stats are as good, if not better, than coaches that have been elected in every era.

I will not list all of his credentials but in short he has 5 Super Bowl Rings, two as a head coach and 3 as an assistant.

Seifert has a better regular-season winning percentage than all but four of the 20 winningest coaches of all time. Only George Halas (.682), Don Shula (.677), Bill Belichick (.673) and Paul Brown (.672) are better.
