I caught the Steelers vs Cardinals SB on tv last night, wow, forgot how white knuckling that got at the end, exciting! Nice to see the replay again. However, and here is my I know biased comment, upon rewatching this game, I have to say that the pass Ben made to Holmes from the End Zone which would have iced the game and ended it IMO was the worst call ever that I have seen. I know I am a Steelers fan, but getting to see it again after a decade and seeing the fact that they called Holding in the End zone on the Steelers with 2:30 in the game because the Steeler lineman got bull rushed over and the defender literally pancaked and fell on him, I just scratch my head. So , not only did the nameless Guard get his rear end handed to him, but gets a penalty to boot that nearly cost them the game as it resulted in a safety!
The game would have been over and I am not a conspiracy guy, but that was a horrible call which changed the game. Fortunately for me, the Steelers came down in 45 secs and won with a TD to Holmes that is probably one of the greatest confirmed catches in the game IMO. BUT jeez, sometimes you wonder about officials and close games.
