Next up on the Westcoaster 2012 tour is Niena Studios represented by Nick Cameron of Crown Military Miniatures. Nick is among the the nicest, most knowledgeable, and most passionate people in the business. Just like last year, my wife and I really enjoyed the opportunity to spend some time with Nick at the show. He had an extensive range of Niena Studio's beautiful figures on display from all of their available paint levels. The array of figures was impressive to say the least. Of course Treefrog carries Niena Studios figures as well.

The first time I look at my products from outside (from St-Petersburg)
Thanks to Nicholas for good display
Thank you Joe for a good picture
I note that Nick have shown products in 4 levels of quality : Semi-collector ( such as the napoleonic horsemen) , Premium (for example Napoleon on his horse), Collector & Connoisseur quality
The idea of Nick is : Collector can find or order desired figure in the right level, as it

The figures are very impressive, and the idea of multiple levels of quality is genius!

You are spot on here. Nick is a great guy- whenever I have a Napoleonic or TS question I ask him. Plus he has (had) the best-and I mean BEST facial hair in this hobby. Then there's the outfit......
Regards to Nick,
Sandor:salute::

I want to show the differences in the quality of the painting as an example of one figure : glossy,
souvenir, semi-collector, premium

semi-collector & Connoisseur quality (Top & Top maximum)

Thank you for showing the differance. It looks like the sculpt changes for the face or is that the artists' ability. The figures are stunning.

casting is the same.
The artist can emphasizes the details.
The artist can make clothing that looks new or old and dirty.
It's appropriate when the figure is individually (Connoisseur quality).
On the figure which is part of a group can be reduced the amount of clothing details( semi-collector or premium quality).
Very often, a figure looks beautiful on the cover of the magazine in the advertising but actually is much worse.
We can do any level of quality.
And if you need a certain level you can be assured that you will get it
