This movie comedy with Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Robin Williams etc isn't really about toy soldiers but it does feature numerous dioramas and displays that come to life at night. The movie has been out a few weeks in Australia so it may well have finished in cinemas in the UK, USA etc. Anyway, if you get a chance I recommend you go see it. Of course it's basically a kids movie so it's best to take your children or grandchildren etc so you don't look silly :)

I saw this in December with my son and nephew. Thought it was pretty good and funny. Yes, I second Oz's recommendations.

Oz, you and I have reached the age where who cares if people think we look silly! ;)

I too attend many children's movies with my grandchildren (5 of them all aged 11 and below). I found this particular movie to be boring, it may be that I am not a big fan of Ben Stiller:( (I prefer his parents). My grandchildren were asking to leave half-way through the movie. I much prefer to watch movies like "Antz" or "Chicken Run"'; "Madagacar" was very good and so was "Cars."
But then its only an opinion and you know my feelings about opinions;)

Not a fan of Stiller either. Love Robin Williams though. Good movie to watch on my big screen. No real good movies this season at all.
