SS1 "4 man mortar crew" and the SS3 & SS4 "SdKfz 232" are especially nice to have and now they're a bargin. Get while the getting is good is my recommendation.

Ok I am tempted by the Sdkf SS3 can someone tell me how the Desert Paratroopers compare to K&C Desert Paratroopers?

Of course lastley anyone have a comment on how good the Sturmtiger is?

I have the Sturmtiger (Winter Version) & I think the beast is beautiful! All it needs in the infamous crane which I believe will be available in some shape or form one day soon. I must be honest and tell you that the figure is just ok at best. However, I would suggest the Mortar set in which the figures are much better. I also have the Sdkf in the Winter Version which I like very much. As for the Desert troops I can not help you out. I would pre-order the Lynx tanks though as they look remarkable. Best of luck with the collection.

Thanks Beaufighter for the insight. I saw the thread on the crane for the Sturmtiger and thought it looked great. I am tempted by that big white beast.

I do have Lynx tank on preorder but I was lucky enough to get one the club version. I will let you know what I think about when it come in.

By the way the Beaufighter was of course a great airplane.

I would definitely get the desert SS3 - its a real beauty and they only made 200. I know they sold out here in the UK so there's probably not too many left elsewhere. At that price they will not stay around long I am sure.

Obviously I think the K & C desert FJs are better but they're also expensive since they're retired so failing that, I'd pick them up.

Sorry forgot to say - got the winter Sturmtiger on Saturday - IMO it's their best one especially with some K&C winter tank riders sat on the top.

Gentlemen

I actually bought a few of these NMA today. I hope they are as good as you say they are - the figures are a little weak - but the vehicles I think will look great with my K&C

The Sturmtiger is rather good, but my favs are the A/Korps Armoured Car and the Mortar Crew. The figures in the later set are close to K & C quality, and the mortar is better than K & C as it's well detailed AND in individual pieces.

I have also just ordered my first NMA set, the SdKfz 232 European Summer version, from Blake at half price and I agree that the figure doesn't look that wonderful, but I am well impressed by the Lynx tank and I think I will add that to my collection too!

Hey Ron,

You are right mate,the figures are not so hot yet but the vehicles are very good.I won one of the Lynx tanks and can't wait to get it.The Sturmtiger is a superb model i have the winter version and am tempted to get the summer one too.Having said that about the figures the very first set they released (the mortar team)is spot on and goes very well with my K&C Normandy Germans.

As Peter has pointed out, Blake is the owner of NMA. I only spoke to him for the first time the other day and he seemed a nice bloke. I have to agree with Rob that the vehicles are very good and I'm sure that the figures will improve as time goes on.

I have their Schwinwagons and the figures to those vehicles are K/C accurate in scale and detail....Do not sell them short. I will take compare photos later.............Michael

Well I was going to buy a Sturmtiger Winter Version - but, it seems somehow everyone got ahead of me when I ordered from Treefrog several days ago - so I lost out.

A little disappointing because I was excited to see the NMA stuff and for the first time collect something else outside K&C and JJ.

Does anyone know who else has a 50% off Winter Sturmtiger for sale ??
