Cheers Robin ! :salute::

Often happens just too many new releases I like to get all in same month. So a bit of a blessing for my finances occasionally to have a month or two when nothing appeals for catch up, don't think there's much chance of that going by the previews ! ^&grin

Hi OD

The figure in the Tiger suit is made by The Collectors Showcase sold as Col Mike Kirby, who was of course the character played by John Wayne's in the film "The Green Berets" !

The Hog is one of Britains plastic 1/32 scale Farm yard pigs, that I dulled down the gleaming plastic with a dab of Beige Red, Vallejo paint.

Still hoping for K&C to do a Vietnamese Pot Bellied pig !

Thanks Steve for the info. I think the K&C figure is a better resemblance of the Duke but the CS figure is very nice looking too.

Ah, that's where we differ. I don't think Andy was trying to have his Green Beret Colonel look like JW. For me the sculpted features of the CS Colonel looks more like JW if they were in a lookalike competition ! ^&grin
Both figures of a very similar size and work well together, but the detailing of the web kit on the K&C one is much better executed.

Hahaha ... perhaps my memory of JW was when he was older and rounded when he filmed The Shootist. Sure would lke a view of your CS figure in a closer up head on shot. 🙂

Putting the two figures side by side and taking a close up photo, it's only the shape of the head/jawline that is vaguly reminiscent of JW really. And the expression on the CS figure looks like he just crapped himself ! The K&C figure has the weirdest eyes ! ^&grin
