The plastic bags in which the AFV's are wrapped are the cause of many breakages of road markers, rear view mirrors,antennas and other delicate items on the vehicles. Who has had the same experience ? Would it not be better to omit the bags and to provide these items separately so that we can glue them on ?

Just got my Winter Puma and they should have sent a supply of super glue to glue the hand of broken parts that came off of this model. Like the Puma very much but very unhappy with the condition it arrived in. I think you are 100% correct the plactic did more harm then it did good. Well off to store to purchase tube of glue to fix this model...Ron :mad:

To be fair to TG they are not the only company out there with this problem. If i had a Dollar for every bent Rifle barrel/Bayonet that has been packed in the foam cut-out box liners, or bent pieces on Vehicles/Aircraft from those wonderfull plastic bags..then i would be laughing all the way to the bank!!...I totally agree, leave the darned things out..they dont have a single purpose and it saves money...!!.

My Puma arrived with a broken off front bumper and supporting brackets, broken off rear light, and all 4 corner makers bent in. Turret must have been on backwards when the factory sprayed the dull overcoat as when it is facing forwards, a bright area of paint is present in front of the turret. I have have about 12 figure sets from TGM, and they are all excellent.

K & C uses plastic bags and I've never had an issue because of the bags. Perhaps it's the other packaging materials, not the bags.

Jeez, A tick shy of a total disaster {sm2} Sounds like a good candidate for an exchange ^&confuse

not had anything from any manufacturer that uses bags damaged. Much more sure its down to the fit in the foam or styrene and the force its placed in that will cause damage than a plastic clear bag.

Just got done looking at a friends Normandy and Winter Puma today. He didn't remove them from the boxes as of yet, so I mentioned the problems mentioned here on the forum about parts broken off. Sure enough after opening each box, both Puma's had the front bumper off and small little handles/lights broken off laying inside of their respective boxes. Easily repairable but.................shouldn't have to be ! {eek3}
