Just picked the hard cover of this title up today for just $5. I was interested in it since my wife and I had so many relatives fight in this particular battle. Has anyone else read it?

I am in North Myrtle Beach on the last full day of our vacation, we return home tomorrow, and in the Tanger Outlets here there is a book store that must contain surplus books from other chains. All of the hard cover books in there are just $5 or $6 each. They have tons of military books.

Thank you Brad. We are doing better. My wife earlier this year was four months pregnant when she ended up hemorrhaging and losing the baby. She had to have emergency surgery. She has had a pretty tough time over the last year and half with us losing our youngest child in early 2010, which you already knew about.

We were approached by someone in our church to adopt a child that one of their relatives is carrying about two weeks ago. We are in the process right. Adoption is something we have discussed several times, but just never took any action on. This baby is due in mid-June. Needless to say, it has been a whirlwind. It is a girl. We meet with the attorney again next week.

Boy you got yourself a bargain there-a couple of years ago I paid the equivalent of $30 US for my copy.

In my view one of the best accounts I have read about this Union debacle (although an impressive feat of engineering by those Pennsylvania coal-miners) which could have been the best (and only) opportunity Grant had during the Petersburg siege to finish the war off a full nine months before Appomattox. Great read.

Darrell,

Sorry to hear about how things have gone for the two of you, but it sounds like things are getting better. Hope everything works out.
