We are also please to present the next vehicle for our WWII: The Battle of Normandy range, NOR050 US Willys Jeep with Driver. This set complements our previous release of the US 4th Infantry division as it represents E Co, 22nd Inf, 4th Division. The set comes with a driver figure (fixed) as well as two passengers that are sold separately, NOR051 US Infantry Staff Sergeant and NOR052 USAAF Pilot, the latter of which is something of an "odd" fellow. :smile2: The passenger figures were designed such that they can ride both in the Jeep or be passengers on NOR047/048 Sherman Tanks as well, so they can serve multiple uses.

NOR050 US Willys Jeep with Driver - E Co, 22nd Inf, 4th Division $174.95
NOR051 US Infantry Staff Sergeant - Jeep Passenger/Tank Rider $54.95
NOR052 USAAF Pilot - Jeep Passenger/Tank Rider $54.95
Ships Early September

Model Features:

- Highly detailed and accurate mixed media model
- Comes with Driver Figure
- Windshield raises and lowers
- Superb sculpting and hand painting
- Passengers available separately

Another fantastic set for the Normandy range!!!! Jeep looks exsquite but the tank rider steals the show!!! That solider is awesome looking, Fury, Kelly's Hero's rolled into one!!! The whole set looks great and hope to see it once released...Sammy

Superb jeep, shame about the 'Oddball'.
I have never understood the appeal of 'Kelly's Heroes'. Even as a child, I found it rather childish!! And KandC have already got this covered.....
Now 'Where Eagles Dare' or 'Great Escape' would be a different matter...

Thanks for the kind words about the Jeep. As for the USAAF Pilot figure, well, if we didn't release anything that any other company has released previously that wouldn't leave us much to release. So really, with few exceptions, we pay little attention to who has released what and just release what we release as after all, I'm sure many companies have already released Jeeps and Shermans and Panzer IV's. So they have their versions and we have First Legion versions which is what most First Legion collectors want from us!

Best,

Matt

Well in my opinion the tank driver looks killer!!! whether its odd ball, or whoever I just like the looks of that set, the leather jacket, head gear and the battle look really stands out and will look sharp either in the jeep or on a tank...Sammy

That Jeep and the passengers have what it takes to make me "possibly" buy WWII stuff ^&grin
They look great {bravo}}

Excellent jeep and passenger figures. This will be in my "must buy" list this year :salute::

This a great looking addition. I would love to see a Kubel and schwimmer offered up at some point as well-jes sayin' {sm4}

I must agree.....I personally don't care for the movie "Kelly's Heroes":rolleyes:....a very silly movie IMO.....I always like the "Great Escape" which is also a bit unrealistic but within somewhat acceptable limits.... but then again.....A Steve Mcqueen figure on a motorcycle would be cool.^&grin.......I'll pass on "odd ball" and I would have preferred the figure with the leather jacket to be without the "wolfman beard".....The jeep and the other 2 WWII soldiers are excellent and I will be purchasing them.:salute::
