NOR068 German Tiger I, 2nd Co 101st Heavy Panzer Battalion (2 Viewers)

Glad I ordered mine if down to 6. My question is how can you tell on the site how many are left?

I would expect some repaints to be done i.e. different camouflage pattern, winter version etc. A command version would be an interesting variation too. The crew figures will be good to see, hopefully in SS Camo!

You enter an amount in the cart and if it exceeds what they have in stock, the system will tell you that they don't have that many in stock; you then reduce the amount and so forth.

I learnt this trick when the quantities of the Nap Austrian standard bearer were low and Matt confirmed that very few were left. I did not delay and purchased one of the last ones.

Thanks Brad. I bet it sells out sometime this week. I am glad I preordered.

Come on boys and girls need this one to sellout before midnight, I've got a Bier riding on it. We need some more collectors to have a few after dinner drinks, the wives to nock off and the wallets to loosen up a bit :wink2:

Send me your bier! Midnight tonight or even dinner time would be a good bet as the number is 3.

I actually thought it would be gone but I'm sure First Legion are very happy with the results thus far.

But thanks to you and your cart checker routine I won a six pack :salute::.

Excellent, I'm five Beers ahead and a nice Tiger is on the way. All and all its shaping up to be a wonderful weekend.

Not in time to help Gebhard, but I just took the count down to 2. I have really backed off on collecting lately due to needing the money for other things. This was not an easy decision, but it is snooze and lose with a piece like this.

first legion is extremely pleased to present our first "big cat" with set nor068 tiger i "222" for our battle of normandy series. The panzerkampfwagen vi tiger ausf. E mounted the very high powered 8.8cm kwk 36 main armament which had a flat trajectory owing to the high muzzle velocity making it extremely accurate at very long ranges. With 100mm of frontal armor it was difficult for allied guns to penetrate. This tank remained in production until august 1944 when it was replaced by the tiger ii. Given its combat history, the "tiger" is one of the most iconic tanks of the second world war. Finally with a german vehicle taking the field in normandy, there is now something to destroy all of those first legion sherman tanks! While we have tried to increase the production numbers on this tank, quantities are somewhat limited, so we strongly suggest you order immediately to avoid disappointment.

Bump, Thread seems to be losing focus.

I've ordered one, I missed out on the HB Gold Tiger and that's not happening with this one. Compaired to the HB Gold version, IMO this one is looking like a very good bargin for such quality.

If you add in a future crew from First Legion its gonna be a real winner and one for the ages. Hope to have it on my shelf for many many years of enjoyment.

Don't forget about the O's!!!!!!!

Unfortunately you can't have everything and I can get (almost) two winged Hussars for the price of this tank. There will be more tanks but there will not be more Hussars.

Interestingly, the number is still at four. Now, if I had a suspicious mind :wink2: I might think that Matt held a few back from inventory to generate a little bit of a feeding frenzy -- "oh, no, I'm going to miss out!" Maybe Matt should hire me as the official First Legion barker ^&grin

Gee... when i came back from work, i received an email from my dealer saying that the Tiger was sold out.

So i have to order from Matt web site, crossing fingers that im gonna have one.

Cheers.
Serge

Two look to be left. I've found that on hot items like these you're better off ordering from FL directly.
