3 DAK and 3 8th Army _ that is really too little!

Hope W.Britain one day will supplement!

I still prefer king & country on there figures and vehicles. Detail and accuarcy maders.

Agree with the General. Have the Eighth Army and like 'em.

A little off topic but another nice set (actually two sets) is the Bren Gun Team (not North Africa though). These sets were my first ever toy soldiers.

sv288,
With all due respects, this is the W Britains section of the forum. There is an entire section devoted to K&C elsewhere on this forum to which you can contribute interminable K&C-related, one-line posts - just like I and other members sometimes do.

These are from the day when Britains made one set here and one set there to try to have a huge variety - but didn't understand how popular diorama making had grown. They didn't make many of their ranges in depth back then.

Obviously things are much different now at Britains, which is why they are getting so popular once again.

I had both sets but their beady little eyes were to freaky looking  I hope they have fixed that in newer releases.

The good old Ertl days...I have these sets, and I agree with Jazzeum..the 8th Army are nice..DAK...leave a little to the imagination..

I can see why you would hope to have more. With respect, I think the accuracy and detail of those pieces is impressive, if I collected that period, I would certainly have to have these.;)
